We are pleased to share another project we recently had the pleasure of working on!😊 We had a brilliant time working with Rakhi, the Founder of Card & Crystal, an online retail store that specialises in feel-good products such as affirmation cards, healing crystals and journals/planners.
Rakhi came to us to create the logo and visual branding for C&C, looking for something that aligned with the brand's vision to support their customers through wellness products that allow them to seek the answers from within. Our Brand Designer, Khaalisa, first got to work with some background research on the industry and how other similar brands were positioned and portrayed through the use of their visual branding. 👩💻
Through their discussions, Khaalisa and Rakhi both decided to stick to the bold, colourful and playful theme of brands within this industry so customers could understand and recognise the type of brand it was straight away.
However, they still wanted a point of difference in order to stand out and promote Card & Crystal's USP, which was that their products were made for a range of ages and different stages of life, from children aged 5 to teenagers or pregnant women.
They also wanted the branding to be associated with everything a lifestyle brand like Card & Crystal aimed to create for their customers, including words such as 'gratitude' and 'strength' as well as phrases such as 'embrace the present' and 'inner glow'.
So, Khaalisa got to work making the first couple of drafts:
Then, after a few final refinements, we ended up with a funky logo and visual brand for C&C that showcased its vision and positioned it nicely as a lifestyle brand.
